Run minus club

Monday is weigh-in day.
I weighed 74.2 kg today which is 0.2kg loss since last week and 4.1kg lost since December.  Not breaking any world records but steadily dropping each week, even when I was on holiday and when away for work and with being very busy at work.  Being out of routine and being stressed are both big triggers for unhealthy choices for me but since reading Eat to Live, even my unhealthy eating times are pretty healthy!  

Arrived at RunClub to find no one there.  Later found out I didn't receive a text to say we were training at Breakfast Point instead.  Given that Jamie is also registered for Tough Mudder but with a different team, it could be sabotage!

Not to be defeated I went home and roped Stella into an impromptu session.

We decided on 3km out and back with walking recovery, aiming to negative split.

I ran with Stella on the way out and she pulled ahead on the way back.  I'm much more consistent running on my own but having her in front of me kept me on target:
6:52, 6:35, 6:15, 6:30, 6:36, 6:27

  1. Congrats on the weight loss! That's a fantastic result particularly given the Christmas/New Years period + your holiday.

    Soooo looking forward to working with you in the lead up to Tough Mudder. Fun times ahead! xx
