Primal

Monday - rest
Tuesday - first session at Primal NRG this morning.  I was so nervous!  Lucky I had TM team mate there to encourage me.  Thanks Mary!  The session was tough and I struggle to do some of it but I didn't make a total tit of myself... I almost hit some poor guy with a medicine ball a couple of times but other than that I was fine.


If it were up to me I'd never remember the session but luckily another TM Sean did a very similar session with the same trainer and posted about it on Facebook so it jogged my memory.


Warm up - skipping, squats, alternating lunges and press-ups  


Lat pull-downs using exercise bands looped over a chin-up bar superset with 3kg medicine ball high wall throws with squat 15 reps each x 3 rounds

10 push-ups facing a partner and clapping alternate hands with partner between each x 2 sets

In threes, walking lunges carrying 10kg Powerbag x 10 steps while the other two people held a plank position x 2 rounds

Medicine Ball Circuit consisting of chest to wall throws, floor slams, side to wall throws (10 reps each) and push ups on the medicine ball (5 reps) x 3 rounds

Using ropes, incline supine row (I just made that up... no idea what it's actually called but those words describe it) superset with incline push-ups using ropes (again... made that up) (both 10 reps) and fireman's walk carrying two 12kg kettlebells 150m approx x 3 sets

Stretch


All that in 45mins.  Amazing.  Impressed with Ray.  He kept a good eye on everyone's form and was encouraging.
