Meditation twice a day tick
Yoga once a day tick (7am 1hr class). It's supposed to be hot yoga. I'm not that keen on the heated room however, yesterday they couldn't get the heaters to work so it was freezing in the room. Good TM training.
Wednesday workout with Phil at Wentworth Park
Short warmup run then three sets of the following:
- 10 burpees
- 10 sprawls (burpees without the jump)
- 10 other similar exercise I don't know the name of, from full forward bend, jump legs back to high plank, jump legs apart in high plank, jump legs together in high plank, jump legs forward to full forward bend)
- 10 mountain climbers
- 10 press ups with side plank in between (crucifix press ups)
- 10 crunches
- 10 sit ups standing in between without using hands to get up
- 10 jumping jacks (not star jumps... hold hands out and waist height and jump so knees touch hands. I was barely able to jump off the ground)
Then 2 sets of the following on equipment that looked a bit like gymnastics rings:
- hanging from rings double leg raises
- another weird exercise I couldn't do, let alone describe
- chin ups (which I can't do do I tried to pull myself up)
each station you did for a set period of time (can't remember how long) while the fourth person did kicks with Phil holding the pads:
- 10 kicks on each leg, alternating legs x 2 sets (first round)
- alternating knees, the 5 kicks on each leg (second round)
Then we paired up and did some boxing.
I'm having difficulty typing all this as my arms hurt today!
